Effective Immediately: IDFPR Announces Measures to Assist Licensees and Education Providers During the COVID-19 Pandemic – new deadline for license renewal is September 30, 2023

The state of Illinois will require all July 31, 2023 physician license renewals to meet two new CME requirements. Physicians must complete three CME hours on safe opioid prescribing and one hour of sexual harassment prevention training. Both of the special requirements count toward the 150 hours required for renewal. To help physicians navigate these changes, we've compiled a list of reliable sources of information and educational opportunities.
